In a significant development for the Brus municipality, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has unveiled plans for substantial investment in infrastructure and development projects. During his visit to the Rasina District, President Vučić announced that approximately €6 million will be allocated for road reconstruction. This initiative aims to pave 15 kilometres of roads by the end of October, improving access for nearly every village within the municipality.
In addition to road improvements, Vučić revealed that preparations are underway for the €2 million Vignjište water-supply project, with construction expected to commence by year’s end. This project is part of a broader effort to enhance the local infrastructure and service delivery. Meanwhile, discussions are progressing with a potential investor regarding the establishment of a new factory, which could generate around 200 new jobs for the area.
During his tour, Vučić visited an organic fruit-processing company, where he highlighted opportunities for businesses to receive government support. This includes financial assistance for acquiring machinery, with non-refundable funding of approximately €42,000 available, alongside Development Fund loans offered at fixed interest rates ranging from 2 to 2.5 percent.
Looking ahead, President Vučić also announced his intention to attend the opening of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event is indicative of the ongoing industrial and technological advancements in the region, reflecting the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and innovation.
