SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have entered into a strategic alliance to accelerate innovation in electric vehicle battery production. The collaboration centers on LiCAP’s proprietary dry electrode process, which eliminates the use of volatile organic compounds and other hazardous substances commonly found in traditional electrode manufacturing.
This initiative aligns with Nissan’s long-term sustainability objectives by enhancing production efficiency, minimizing environmental impact, and setting new standards for advanced energy storage systems.
